‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’ trailer leaked, coming to PS4, Xbox 720

On Saturday, Mar. 2, new information regarding Ubisoft’s “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” surfaced when the title’s debut trailer was leaked online ahead of schedule. Additionally, “Assassin’s Creed IV” is set for release on PlayStation 4 along with Microsoft’s Xbox 720 – codenamed Durango – later this year.

“Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” was officially announced earlier in the week, but Ubisoft didn’t share many details about the title. However, all that has now changed as on Saturday, Mar. 2, the title’s first trailer was leaked online a couple days early.

As for when “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” will release and on what platforms, gaming website GamingEverything dug thru Ubisoft’s “Assassin’s Creed IV” countdown site and discovered a secret, hidden page that shares extra details about the title.

According to the secret page, “Assassin’s Creed IV” will release on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, as well as next-gen consoles -- meaning Microsoft’s Xbox 720 and Sony’s PS4.

Additionally, the website confirms that “Assassin’s Creed IV” will release on Oct. 29, 2013. Those who pre-order the title will be given a collectible Todd McFarlane poster as a special bonus.

Expect to hear more about “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” on Monday, Mar. 4.
