Ubisoft has today revealed the new abilities that will be placed at players' disposal in the upcoming DLC add-on, The Tyranny of King Washington, for “Assassin’s Creed III.” The Tyranny of King Washington DLC will put fans inside an alternate history during the American Revolution era in which George Washington took it upon himself to become king of the colonies instead of a democratically elected president.

In this fictional time-line, the “Assassin’s Creed III” protagonist never became an assassin nor did he take on his English name of Connor. Instead he remained Ratonhnhaké:ton and, rather than developing skills of the ancient assassin order, he focused his training on mastering his Native American totem animals.

In The Tyranny of King Washington add-on, Ratonhnhaké:ton will be able to call upon the power of several different animals in order to gain their blessing. The bear will allow players to increase their strength, the eagle gives fans increased speed, and the wolf will grant them a form of natural invisibility through camouflage. Addtionally, Ratonhnhaké:ton will be able to don warpaint to increase all of his abilities as well as gain the power to summon a pack of wolves at his command.

The first episode of The Tyranny of King Washington DLC add-on for “Assassin’s Creed III” will become available for download on February 19.
