'Assassin's Creed III' cut to $30 plus Xbox LIVE deals at Best Buy this week

The game deal off-season continues the week of March 17 with the latest set of promotions from Best Buy. While there's not much to choose from, the retailer does have a couple of noteworthy deals on Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 plus other offers for Xbox LIVE Gold Cards and points with the purchase of Gears of War: Judgement.

Both Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 are on sale for half off their regular price at $29.99 each. Additionally, Halo 4's new normal price of $39.99 continues.

Meanwhile, those that pickup Gears of War: Judgement this week can also get the 3 plus 1-month Xbox LIVE Gold Card for $14.99 and receive a bonus 400 MS Point ($5). The Season Pass for the Xbox 360 exclusive also comes with a bonus 400 MS Points when purchased for $19.99. The pass comes with permanent double XP and two add-on packs. The Walking Dead fans can also save $15 when they purchase both The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct for the PS3 and Xbox 360 for $59.99 together with the second season on Blu-ray for $39.99 or DVD for $32.99.
