'Assassin's Creed' fan imagines series going to China with impressive artwork (Photos)

Concept art for an "Assassin's Creed" set in China began spreading across internet on Saturday. This artwork isn't from Ubisoft though. It's from an artist who is also a fan of the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC franchise.

DeviantArt user ChaoyuanXu posted the collection of "Assassin's Creed" artwork with the tagline, "So, what if the assassin's tale happened in the ancient empire of China, where only power and conspiracy ruled?"

The fanart has been added to DeviantArt over the last month until it finally became more widespread. The "Assassin's Creed" series does not look like it is sticking with the West for "Assassin's Creed 4" and not heading to the Far East. A Ubisoft representative from Brazil said that at least some of the next game in the series would take place in his country just last month.

While it is doubtful that we'll ever see a Chinese assassin, we must say that ChaoyuanXo did a good job of capturing the spirit of the franchise with his artwork.
