'Assassin's Creed 4' will have competition for best looking game (Photos)

"Assassin's Creed 4" will be hitting PCs this year and it will presumably be one of the best looking games people have seen in quite sometime, but "Metro: Last Light's" producer thinks things could turn out better for them.

According to a report from VG24/7 yesterday, "Metro: Last Light" producer Huw Beynon talked about how he and his team believes they have the best looking game above all others available for PC.

"I firmly believe that the PC version of 'Metro: Last Light' is one of, if not the best looking game you can actually buy, period, at the moment.

"We’re still proud of how we’ve managed to adapt that for the current generation of consoles," Beyon said.

That is a bold statement to say their game is the best looking game out now. It only means "Assassin's Creed 4" will have some serious competition to deal with when it releases on PCs toward the end of this year.

Beyon went on to say that this current version that they are working on for PC is measurable to anything that is going to hit next-generation titles.

"If someone asks me are we doing a next-gen version – well, yes we are. It’s the PC. We’re one of the few studios out there that have a proven piece of tech that’s built for high-end PCs," Beyon said.

"Assassin's Creed 4" will indeed be a next-generation title so it'll be interesting to see how this game turns out to perform on PCs this year.

Perhaps it could even be good enough to top "Metro: Last Light" on PC? "Assassin's Creed 4" will be released to nearly every major platforms this Oct. 29th.
