"Assassin's Creed 4" is no longer a secret, as are the details and features that will be coming along with the newest installment in this most popular franchise.

According to a report from InsideGamingDaily yesterday, "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" will indeed to be featuring underwater exploration for the first time.

This hasn't been done in any previous "Assassin's Creed" title, which opens up the possibility of gamers being able to find hidden caves and treasures.

Perhaps even enemies will be able to chase after gamers underwater for the first time, as that has historically been a mode of escape in recent installments.

Perhaps even sharks or other fish being threats to gamers as they swim below the surface. Ubisoft definitely has some room to be creative with this new feature and hopefully they will take full advantage of it.

Most people know that Captain Jack Sparrow's ship is The Black Pearl, well gamers will be at the helm of a new ship called the Jackdaw.

This seems to be something gamers will acquire over the course of their progress through the game, and isn't something they will receive at the start.

Perhaps players will be able to upgrade their ship as they go on and even trade a ship for another ship based on certain features.

In addition, gamers most likely will need to recruit a crew for their ship, so much like recruiting assassin's in previous games, a crew will be necessary.

"Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" is shaping up to be different, which is something the series needs.
