According to a report by Gaming Everything on Feb. 28, “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag” is “coming to next-gen consoles,” which will presumably be the PS4 and Xbox 720. The leak came from a countdown website for the sequel. In addition to the platform details, a release date was also posted as the multiplatform title will be launching in North America on Oct. 29. You can check out some images of the “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag” box art, website and a cinematic shot (as well as some images of the PS4 controller and camera) in the slideshow at the top of this article.
In addition to the PS4 and Xbox 720, “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag” is also coming to the PC platform as well as the Nintendo Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360 current-generation consoles.
A trailer for the open-world action-adventure title will be shown on Monday, March 4. The fourth main game in the “Assassin’s Creed” series was apparently shown off to the press during an event on Feb. 27.
The PS4 and Xbox 720 are expected to come out this holiday season.
