Best Buy's Deal of the Day for Tuesday, Jan. 7 features Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag at half of its regular price for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC.

Assassin's Creed IV is available for $29.99 through 12:59 a.m. EST / 10 p.m. PST through Tuesday for each platform. Free shipping is available though sales tax is applicable.

There's been no price match for the game at Amazon yet but the Wii U version was already marked down to $34.99 to begin with. The other releases are approximately $10 off but don't be surprised if the online retailer matches.

Update: And Amazon has price-matched the $29.99 price for the game.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag takes the series on a pirate spin in the Caribbean with Edward Kenway, the grandfather of Assassin's Creed III's Connor Kenway, sailing the ocean to take on colonial forces as well as the Templars. Players will go from commanding a pirate ship raiding ships and forts to leaping across buildings to take out their assigned targets.
