Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will launch ahead of schedule in Europe and Australia for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to a report today from GameSpot.
Ubisoft confirmed that the Assassin’s Creed 4 will launch globally for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on Oct. 29.
Previously the title had been slated to drop in Europe on Nov. 1, a day after it was set to launch in Australia. The Oct. 29 date had been only the North American date before the Ubisoft announcement.
Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game will launch on the same day as the consoles in North America, and European gamers can pick up Assassin’s Creed 4 for the PS4 on Nov. 22, a week before the console’s European launch.
The PC iteration of Assassin’s Creed 4 was set to release with the current-gen versions of the game, but was pushed back to Nov. 19 in North America and Nov. 22 in Europe.
Assassin’s Creed 4 game director Ashraf Ismail said Ubisoft employed more than 900 people to work on the game in an exclusive interview with Examiner. You can read that here.
