"Assassin's Creed 4" has just been leaked out with some major information about their next installment in the franchise, and this one looks like it will focus on pirates and war at sea.
The information that was leaked places "Assassin's Creed 4" in the Caribbean where gamers will be able to go to places such as: Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas.
The individual who is featured in the promotional material for this game is Connor's grandfather Edward Kenway. He is pictured steering a ship as he tries to fight off invading pirates.
Now reports have stated that this title is going to be taking gamers to a new era with pirates and the like.
It has also been said "Assassin's Creed 4" will be a game that focuses heavily on naval combat for the entire game. This may be something that people love and want to see, but it could get old after awhile.
During "Assassin's Creed III," gamers had the chance to fight enemies at sea and that provided a nice contrast in gameplay for players. But do you want to see a whole game based off of naval combat?
Let's be honest, that is something that will get old and boring really fast, unless they embellish the combat experience. A lot of people were hoping the next installment would go back further in time, away from guns and a more modern setting, but it looks like Ubisoft says otherwise.
Some people also feel this year would've been a perfect time for Ubisoft to take a year off of producing an "Assassin's Creed" title, but so far, reactions to the news of another game this year have not been well received.
While the upset people about another installment may be present, the previous game still sold over 12 million copies, which says to Ubisoft that the franchise is hot.
Sources went on to claim that "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" will be releasing sometime this holiday season, and could be seeing ports onto the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4.
