Only minutes ago, "Assassin's Creed 4" revealed a new trailer for the upcoming game, and this one shows off the work that artist Todd McFarlane put into the limited edition "Black Flag" poster.

McFarlane gives gamers insight into how he created the "Assassin's Creed 4" poster, and the inspirations he used to make it.

Many people have their own way of interpreting the "Assassin's Creed" franchise, and Todd does a very interesting job of articulating what went through his mind when he was creating the poster.

"Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" is introducing a new assassin to the world for the second consecutive year.

Edward Kenway is indeed in the bloodline of the previous game's hero, Connor Kenway. Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out the specific connections between Connor and Edward, outside of their genetics.

"Assassin's Creed 4" will be released on Oct. 29th.
