Asian Pacific Heritage celebration at the National Aquarium in Baltimore

What: The National Aquarium's Cultural Series presented by Macy’s celebrates Asian Pacific Heritage. This event will feature a Chinese Lion parade followed by Kung Fu and Tai Chi forms – line up for the parade at 5pm. You’ll also enjoy beautiful Thai classical & folk dance performances, a calligraphy exhibit & demo and a Taiko drum presentation with audience participation. Kids can make Japanese fans to take home in the arts & crafts area and the Aloha Boys will bring the beautiful sounds of Hawaii to the National Aquarium.

When: Friday, January 4, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. whereas, the ticket center closes at 8 p.m. and the aquarium closes at 9:30 p.m.

Who: This is an event for the entire family to enjoy. The admission fee is $12 and the event is open to the general public.
