Asian inspired crock pot pork

Test Kitchen:  Asian inspired crock pot pork
As I strolled lazily through the Concord Farmers Market I was intrigued by the vast array of local goods. There was a little bit of everything; house plants, wines, meats, dairy, baked goods and a variety of produce.
I chose a few select ingredients including some peanut butter chocolate fudge from The Mill Fudge Factory and a bottle of Orange Muscat wine from Jewell Towne Vineyards for my dessert.

Asian inspired crock pot pork:
-2 lbs pork roast or tenderloin
-2 cups orange juice
-2 tablespoons hoisin

-½ teaspoons toasted sesame oil
-1 ½ tablespoons Nuoc Mam or Nam Pla (fish sauce)
-3 ½ tablespoons of fresh grated ginger or ginger preserves
-1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
-1 tablespoon lime juice
-2 tablespoons honey                                                                                                                                           -1 tablespoon Mirin

Put pork in crock pot. Mix all other ingredients in a bowl and pour over the pork, cover and set crock pot to low. Allow pork to cook for at least five hours, although more time may be needed depending on the thickness of the roast. When finished the pork should fall apart easily.

Serve with your favorite fresh greens and drizzle some of the sauce over them, they will wilt slightly but still maintain their firm texture.
