As a former cast member for "Beauty and the Geek", it only seems appropriate that I report on whatever news is happening remotely related to the show. Therefore, take this information to the bank -- according to Entertainment Weekly, Ashton Kutcher is producing a new show for TV Land that is essentially the same show as his former product "geek", except with teams divided by generation rather than social status. It's the same sort of experiment, and people are still supposed to learn something from each other in the end.
So will this actually work? With shows such as "Hot in Cleveland", TV Land is already working the whole "generation" theme to the best of their ability. It also has been enough time since "Geek" (two years) for the format to be re-introduced to the public. A sixth "celebrity" season of the show was briefly in discussions with MTV, but due to issues with casting it was not given a go-ahead.
Would you want to see what else Ashton has inside of his reality TV mind?

if he wants this show to work, he needs to just go back to the original format, that's what people liked. Stop F***ing around with the show and give us back the original Beauty and the geek.
I loved you on season 5 Matt!
They should have a whole season of Beauty and the Geek that's all about Jason Prager. Hometape!
Ashton should bring back the show, I miss watching those lovable geeks and those retarded girls compete. They get all the hottest geeks for that show.
I think a generational show would tank. no one cares about the generations interacting with each other, we want to see hot girls and geek guys. that was what made the show work.
I only watched the show for Matt Carter cause he's hot. That is all.
I would love to be on the generational show. I could teach people how to do stone carving, paint their cave walls, and use a phone that did not text.
Home tape? Home tape? Where?
