Ashton Kutcher, who will be playing Steve Jobs in the upcoming film “jOBS,” tweeted a photo in which he bears an uncanny resemblance to the former Apple CEO.
The picture appears to be of Steve Jobs, but upon closer examination, half the face belongs to Kutcher. He’s made up to look like Jobs and his makeup artist is very talented.
Jobs was an avid fruitarian. His diet consisted solely of fruits, nuts and seeds. In an effort to get into character for his role, Kutcher adopted the diet which landed him in the hospital with pancreatitis. Ironically, Jobs died from pancreatic cancer in 2011.
The film “jOBS” will hit heaters on April 19, but it debuted last week at the film festival in Utah to mixed reviews. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was not impressed, saying “What I saw was just so far from anything that really happened or [was] said in those days.”
