Twitter millionaire Ashton Kutcher "ding dong ditched" Ted Turner
Ashton Kutcher @aplusk made good on his Twitter challenge and did the "ding-dong ditch" to CNN's founder Ted Turner on Wednesday night.
Kutcher said he would "ding-dong ditch" Turner if Kutcher could make it to a million Twitter followers before CNN did. Prior to this challenge, nobody had made it to a million followers.
Wednesday night he encouraged his followers to get involved by coming the Atlanta's Centennial Olympic park. His wife, Demi Moore @MrsKutcher would be waiting with a large gold bell and a van full of Hostess Ding Dong snack cakes.
A "ding dong ditch" normally is a prank where a person will ring a doorbell and run.
Kutcher improvised since the Turner home in Atlanta is located on the second floor of his Ted's Montana Grille restaurant on Luckie Street.

Kutcher and his followers unloaded the Ding Dongs outside the eatery on the sidewalk and then started ringing the large gold bell. Turner never showed up at the window. On camera (live streamed at ustream.tv and recorded) Kutcher said.
“We came out here because we won the war. People are watching live because they want to see something special. The war wasn’t really with Ted Turner. He doesn’t even own CNN. The ding-dong ditch was a bit of a distraction.”
The camera then focused on the giant CNN sign on the CNN Center on Marietta street where a large banner unfurled revealing Kutcher's Twitter page user name @aplusk.
The Ding Dongs, were donated to the Atlanta Food Bank.
