Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are at odds today over Lindsay Lohan and the way Ashton keeps coming to her rescue. For some unknown reason, Ashton feels a need to help Lindsay, or in this case, enable the former Disney star, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.
While Ashton has no apparent ties with Lindsay, although a rumor has them hooking up a few years back, she continues to go to Ashton for help and he can’t refuse her. Most everyone who cares about Lindsay has stopped enabling her, hoping she will eventually get her act together, but not Ashton. While he thinks he’s doing Lindsay a favor by lending her money because she’s broke, he’s not. Lindsay needs to live within her means and stop her partying ways.
Lindsay is now getting in the way of Ashton’s relationship with Mila, who is demanding that Ashton turn his back on Lindsay like everyone else has. While this sounds unkind, it might be the only way for the party girl to grow up. If she continues to have pals that bail her out, she’ll never change her ways because she doesn’t have to.
Reports also have Lindsay hitting up Charlie Sheen for money. Sheen did bail her out once and it was him who made the offer, but if she keeps running to him and Ashton with her hand open, nothing will change in her life.
Celeb Dirty Laundry compares this to the proverb about giving a man a fish or teaching him how to fish. Ashton is just giving Lindsay a fish when there’s a whole ocean full of them she could get for herself and never go without, if someone would just teach the girl to fish!
