The 2013 MacWorld/iWorld Expo will host Playing Steve & Woz on Jan. 31.

The special live event will feature actors Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad taking the MacWorld/iWorld main stage to share their experiences playing the technology industry’s two most celebrated and influential personalities, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, in the upcoming feature film, "jOBS."

The "jOBS" movie premired at the Sundance Film Festival last week.

Open Road Films has picked up the film for distribution with plans to release it in theaters nationwide on April 19.

Directed by Joshua Michael Stern, the film is described as an incredibly personal story covering nearly 40 years of Steve Jobs’ life and an intensely character-driven story that is as much a sweeping epic as it is a personal tale.

Kutcher is a celebrity actor, tech investor and producer. In 2000, he co-founded Katalyst, a media company creating original content for digital media, television and film. In 2011, he co-founded A-Grade Investments, a venture fund.

In 2010, Kutcher was named one of Time Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential People. In that same year, his company, Katalyst, was named one of the year’s Top 50 Most Inspiring Innovators by Ad Age and one of Fast Company Magazine’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies.

Currently Kutcher stars in the CBS comedy series "Two and a Half Men."

Gad serves as an executive producer, co-creator and also stars as Skip Gilchrist, the president’s (Bill Pullman) clumsy, eldest son whose sincere attempts to do the right thing often go awry, in NBC’s family comedy “1600 Penn.”

His television credits include “Back to You,” and ABC’s “Modern Family,” as well as the animated series “Good Vibes,” where he voiced the character of Mondo.

Gad also starred in the title role in “Gigi: Almost American.” He also recently guest starred on FOX’s hit show “New Girl.”

Playing Steve & Woz will take place Thursday, Jan. 31 at 9:00 am on the MacWorld/iWorld Main Stage, Room 2005.
