Ashley Wagner looked extremely gracious starting her figure skating performance perfectly in Russia. Stepping on the ice for her program in Sochi on Wednesday, Ashley had thousands of people looking at her step sequences and waiting on her scores, but she has a life off the ice too. The popular athlete apparently has viewers wondering who is Ashley Wagner’s boyfriend. While there are plenty of rumors about who the young ice star might be seeing, one name that keeps coming up is Adam Rippon. According to The Epoch Times on Wednesday, the young couple has been seen more than once hanging out with each other both on and off the ice.

So is Adam Rippon really Ashley Wagner’s boyfriend? During an interview with The Washington Post the figure skater acknowledged being close to Adam, but didn't go so far to validate the rumors. Of course she probably was glad to have a friendly face around the ice, but her love has to be figure skating first.

The only thing that can be confirmed is Ashley Wagner and 24-year-old Adam Rippon both train together in California and have the same coach, Rafael Arutyunyan. While the idea of seeing someone every day hardly makes the two athletes dating, it does offer a best friend when things get tough on the ice.

Does Adam Rippon’s good friend Ashley Wagner have a chance at a medal in Sochi? Definitely! And if she does come home with hardware, he should officially consider dating her so the rumors can be true!
