Ashley Tisdale plots return to TV with ABC show 'Under Construction'

Ashley Tisdale has probably seen that comedies seem to be doing rather well right now on TV, and she is plotting to make her first return to TV since the cancellation of "Hellcats" via this very medium.

According to a new report from Deadline, ABC is developing a show from the actress entitled "Under Construction" -- which is described as a semi-autobiographical story about a woman moving back home while her new house is being renovated. While this happens, she also soon finds out that her own life needs just as much work as the money pit she has in her possession.

Tisdale is best known for starring in "High School Musical" alongside Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens -- and if this series turns out to be a success, we have to wonder if she will be able to convince them to make any guest appearances.

Does this show sound like a solid pilot, or do you think we will never actually see this show air?
