“High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale is back to making music after a four year break to focus on her acting career. According to Broadway World on Dec. 16, she has just released a brand new single called “You're Always Here.” The song is available on iTunes today.
The blond singer wrote this uplifting tune in honor of her grandfather Arnold as she tweeted just a few days ago. She also shared a photo him saying, " #yourealwayshere #specialproject…..Dedicated to my Pop Pop Arnold 12/16.”
The loss of her beloved grandpa inspired this song, which has also brought about a special project in remembrance of him. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Not only do you get a great tune to listen to, but you will also be helping out the kids that need it the most.
Tisdale is in the process of planning a wedding right now. She just got engaged to fiancé Christopher French in August and the two have been blissfully happy ever since. The 28-year-old also just had a guest spot on CBS's “The Crazy Ones” as an irritating intern. She mentioned on Twitter that she had a blast working with the show’s stars, Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Music has always been close to her heart as well as acting. She seems to have a great career ahead of her.
