Greg and Theresa Hammons, the owners of Ashley's, named the bakery after their first daughter, Ashley, 31 years ago. Both daughters, Ashley and Lindsay, worked in the family business with their parents before moving on to pursue their own careers. Ashley’s Pastries brings a great selection of mouth watering pastries to the Saturday market, including BACON DONUTS, pretzels, cheese biscuits, BACON DONUTS, chocolate filled croissants, muffins, Danish, BACON DONUTS and elephant ears.

Ashley’s makes crazy good bacon donuts! The light, fluffy donuts are lightly frosted and have a slice of fried bacon on top! The salty flavor of the donut perfectly complements the light, sweet, fluffy donut. Then there are the chocolate croissants. Not your everyday chocolate croissants, these chocolate croissants are filled with a rich, creamy chocolate filling.

Owners Greg and Theresa feel that they have been blessed with regular, loyal customers, and they believe in the importance of giving back to the community. Ashley's is a regular supporter of many local organizations including the Children's Medical Center, the Oakwood Rotary, Dayton Public Radio, The Muse Machine, Catholic Social Services, Muscular Dystrophy, The Red Heart Gala, Dayton History, and many local schools and hospitals.

Ashley’s Pastries' brick-and-mortar shop on Park Avenue has a more extensive selection of homemade breads, cakes, cupcakes and pastries. Ashley’s makes custom cakes to your specifications, including wedding cakes. Ashley’s even delivers!

The Saturday morning Oakwood Farm Market is held - rain or shine- every Saturday through August at 22 Orchard Drive off Far Hills Avenue (behind the Chico’s shopping strip). Now in its second year, the Oakwood Market takes place Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m
