The Americana Music Festival swings into town this week - starting on Wednesday, the shows associated with the festival will be played in multiple venues around town. Monday, September 16 – People’s Blues of Richmond with Stone Senate at the Exit/In, 8p.m. – free
Tuesday, September 17 – Sarah Buxton, Tom Bukovac, Ken Johnson, “Big Al” Anderson, and Miles Zuniga at The Listening Room Café, 8p.m. – $7 food/drink minimum
Wednesday, September 18 – JD McPherson with The Lone Bellow and The Band of Heathens (part of the Americana Music Festival) at Mercy Lounge, 9p.m. – $20 Mercy/High Watt/Cannery one-day pass or $50 festival wristband
Thursday, September 19 – Roseanne Cash, Billy Bragg, Richard Thompson, The Wood Brothers, and The Steep Canyon Rangers (part of the Americana Music Festival) at 3rd & Lindsley, 8p.m. – $20 cover
Friday, September 20 – Caitlin Rose, Luella & The Sun, and Johnny Fritz & Bottle Rockets (part of the Americana Music Festival) at Mercy Lounge, 8p.m. – $20 Mercy/High Watt/Cannery one-day pass or $50 festival wristband
Sunday, September 22 – Special Sunday edition of Musicians Corner at Centennial Park, 1:30p.m. – 5p.m. – free. Featuring Andrew Belle, Jenny & Tyler, Young Summer, Marie Hines, Harrison B, Sarah Williams, and James and the Wild Spirit.
