Ashley Judd and Dario Franchitti have announced plans to divorce after 11 years of marriage. USA Today has the story, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. The actress and the three-time Indy 500 winner are evidently parting ways amicably, at least judging from their tweets to each other on Twitter.

Judd and Franchitti issued an exclusive statement to People on Tuesday night:
"We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed,"
Ashley Judd, age 44, and Dario Franchitti, age 39, have no children together. Judd's half-sister, Wynona, and mother, Naomi, made up the country music duo, "The Judds." USA Today highlights Ashley's career:
Ashley has been best known for her acting career (she recently starred in the TV series Missing and was in such 1990s hits as Heat, A Time to Kill and Kiss the Girls).
Ashley Judd was a familiar site on the racing scene, always proud and supportive of her husband. There were no official reasons given for the break-up.
