"Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson is not the pretty little liar you thought she was, in fact she was in fear of her safety in real life when a former security guard was allegedly spreading the word about his "feelings" towards the actress according to TMZ back in early June when she was granted a temporary restraining order.
It was reported by the IndyChannel on Tuesday, July 15 that a California judge has now granted a more lengthy restraining order for the California native that bans Gorton, Jr. from coming within 100 yards of her for the next 3 years.
49 year old James Gorton, Jr. told security officials that "God instructed him to pursue her romantically" after he expressed his sexual feelings toward the "Spring Breakers" star and thought the two had a "special connection" because Benson looked his way one day; He was convinced Ashley and others were communicating through subliminal messages.
The ex-security guard was immediately fired from the set of Warner Brothers lot in Burbank, California where the hit teen drama "Pretty Little Liars" is filmed for his inappropriate behavior toward the 24 year old actress.
Benson became extremely concerned and was quickly granted a temporary restraining order by a California judge ruling the ex- guard to stay 100 yards away from the pretty little liar for protection.
The young actress has been busy with her four year run on the ABC hit drama PLL, which has been renewed for another two seasons; The only stalker Benson wants to keep running from is the unknown assailant "A."
Benson is currently working on the new computer animated movie "Pixels" where she plays a beautiful warrior from a fictional 80's video game named "Lady Lisa," in the 3D comedy along side comedic veterans Adam Sandler and Kevin James, which is set to be released in 2015.
Benson can now keep calm and relaxed, after all most celebrities get a little weird attention every now and then.
