Jessica Simpson's baby sister Ashlee Simpson's hard partying ways have caused a real concern for he family members, especially her ex-Fall Out Boy member Pete Wentz, who is really worried about what effect her excessive drinking is having on the former couple's son Bronx according to Thursday, Feb. 28 Radar Online reports.
The former "7th Heaven" star has been reportedly looking unrecognizable when she was recently photographed at New York Fashion Week. Rumors that Ashlee is having a hard time coping with the recent news of her parents divorce and her father Joe Simpson's alleged gay love affairs has simply sent Ashlee over the edge.
Pete Wentz who recently announced that he would be returning on the road for a new tour with his band Fall Out Boy has expressed major concerned that Ashlee’s downward spiral could negatively affect her role as a mother, and he has warned the 28-year-old to slow down and take a break, for her good and for the sake of their son.
“Ashlee is in the dog house right now with Pete,” a source tells Radar. “He’s concerned that she’s burning the candle at both ends and worried about the effect on Bronx if she continues in this current state.
“Pete’s told Ashlee that enough is enough, and she has to cut back on the partying. He’s even spoken to [her mom] Tina to get her take on the matter and make sure that he’s not overreacting in any way. She reassured him that he isn’t and said she’s been worried about Ashlee too."
As previously reported Fall Out Boy announced on Feb.4 via Twitter the band reuniting after their three-year hiatus back in 2009. Rolling Stone reports that Fall Out Boy has returned with the release of their new single, news of a new album, and a 2013 tour schedule.
"My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)" is Fall out Boy's first new music since "Alpha Dog," from their 2009 Greatest Hits compilation. Rolling Stone magazine describes the new song as being packed with stadium-sized theatrics and Patrick Stump's scorching wail.
So with Pete's jammed schedule it is easy to see where his concern lies concerning the care of his son Bronx, and with Jessica Simpson so far along into her second pregnancy it may be difficult for her to help get Ashlee under control.
