Ashlee Simpson reveals how she lost 50 pounds of weight after baby Brox

Current broadway star and singer Ashlee Simpson interviewed with Women's Health this month and revealed what worked for her when it came to losing 50 pounds of post-baby weight after giving birth to baby boy Bronx.

"I had E's!" she said of her growing bra size and pregnancy weight gain. "[Losing the weight] was hard, because I'm an eater," the 25-year-old mom told WH.

While eating was a challenge, and the star was happy to indulge in diet trends like home-meal delivery, Simpson said the fitness part was easier.

"I can't do the treadmill for 45 minutes straight," she confessed, but did admit to working with a personal trainer and setting a gym up in her home to make working out more convenient.  

While Ashlee is famed for keeping variety in her routine to prevent boredom, one of the guys she worked with was MADfit's Mike Alexander - Also the man behind sister Jessica Simpson's Daisy Duke body

"If Ashlee has any shortcomings, it would be her short attention span," Alexander said to the mag. To counter that, Mike keeps things moving with the Chicago star and has her do exercises back-to-back. "Usually an upper-body exercise and then a lower-body exercise," says Alexander. "It gets your heart rate pumping."
