Ashlee Simpson Goes House Hunting Post Pete Wentz Split

Ashlee Simpson has been house hunting. Just days after filing for divorce from husband Pete Wentz, Ashlee is looking for a place of her own. Simpson, who is rumored to be staying with big sister, Jessica, isn't wasting any time moving on.

"Ashlee Simpson is tough. She'll be just fine," one Cleveland fan stated. According to Us Weekly, Ashlee's friends have been helping her look for a new home for herself and son Bronx, 2.

"They drove by a few houses in the $3 to 4 million range," said one insider. "Ashlee didn't get out of the car and was quiet and subdued. At one point, she was going to get out of the car but when she saw photographers she decided to stay in the car and then went home."

The biggest concern for Simpson while check out houses? A suitable place for Bronx to be safe and happy. "The homes were two-story traditional style homes in a family neighborhood," revealed the source. "One of the houses was just up from the street from Coldwater Park where she and Pete like to take Bronx to play."

Wherever Ashlee Simpson finds herself, she and Bronx will have to adjust to life without Pete Wentz. Ashlee and Pete are allegedly going to be sharing custody of Brox, however it's likely their son will be spending most of his time with Simpson.
