Singer and actress Ashlee Simpson-Wentz says yoga has helped her bond with her nine-month-old son.
Her first born, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, was born on November 20, 2008 and in an interview with Contactmusic.com, Ashlee and her baby are one with their Om.
She said in the interview that throughout her pregnancy, yoga was a way to keep her balanced, connected and focused.
“Your body is changing, and it’s such an amazing time to feel that connection," said Simpson-Wentz. "I did prenatal yoga, which was a nice way to mellow down and focus on me and Bronx.
The 24-year-old Melrose Place actress said her pregnancy prepared her for motherhood and assisted in the actress's feeling of empowerment.
"Being pregnant was the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life. Except for the cupcakes!" Simson-Wentz told Contactmusic.com.
