Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Divorce: Is Pete a Drug Addict?
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz shocked many fans when they filed for divorce earlier this month. There were not signs of trouble in the marriage to the public eye, but behind closed doors may have been a very different story. New reports claims that Pete is a "functioning drug addict," and that Ashlee couldn't take it anymore.
"Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were such a cute couple," tweeted one Cleveland native. According to Showbiz Spy, sources are revealing that Wentz's prescription drug addiction lead to the couples split.
“Ashlee realized that Pete had become a functioning addict and that he wasn’t making any effort to quit,” a source said. “He’d been taking the sleeping pill Ambien, the sedative Xanax and painkiller Oxycontin and Ashlee had concerns about Pete’s behavior around their son Bronx. When Pete drinks and takes pills, he goes wild. Ashlee doesn’t trust him to be faithful.”
TMZ also reported the divorce was due to Pete Wentz's "erratic" behavior. It seems that Ashlee is doing what she believes is best for her son. Simpson is currently seeking spousal and child support in the divorce.

i don't know what to say of this. This isn't hard to believe because Pete OD on Ativan in 2005 i think it was. As a huge fan of pete wentz and absolutly everything he does i don't want to believe this. But i think that maybe ashlee is trying to cover up for what she is being accused by accusing pete of something worse. I hate what ashlee is putting him through.
