Aspiring recording artist Ashlee Feliciano blew Nicki Minaj away with a soulful audition on "American Idol" Wednesday.
Singing a rendition of Corinne Bailey Rae's "Put Your Records On," Feliciano truly impressed Minaj.
"So pretty. So I wanna come to your show. I don't think you understand what you just did. I am so inspired by you and I think so many other girls will be inspired by you too. Incredible," said Minaj.
Prior to her performance, Feliciano touched the judges, sharing the fact that her family has dedicated their lives to adopting children in need.
Calling the performance beautiful, Mariah Carey said Feliciano has potential.
"I thought everything was nice and clear. You know, the potential is great. It was beautiful. You should be really proud of yourself," said Carey.
After bringing the Feliciano family in to celebrate, Randy Jackson gave Ashlee Feliciano the final vote she needed to move forward in the competition.
"I say yes. You're going to Hollywood," Jackson exclaimed.
Completely happy with that audition, which happened to be their last audition of the day, Nicki Minaj said "that girl just blew me away."
