Lent must usher in not only our individual finite frailty in the presence of an Almighty God, but our national finite frailty in the presence of His Justice. For our national sins are mounting! And American Catholicism is complicit in the diabolical activity coming from Washington, Hollywood, Broadway, and the public square of every town U.S.A.! The Catholic heart has been stolen, its conscience knocked unconscious! Dust is our future if we don't repent this Lent!

Does this sound like the crazy talk of a small town wanna-be-prophet? 55 million aborted babies would disagree! Does this sound like the crankiness of a conservative crank? A majority of American Catholic voters, who incidentally voted for abortion-on-demand, would be the first to hurl such an accusation! Does this sound like doomsday-dark-lunacy? Those who see the demise of 'American exceptionalism' through moral decay, and military sequestering, and religious persecution (HHS style), and socialist medicine, and growing government, and the loss of 2nd Amendment rights to self-protection, etc. etc., would see the absolute darkness and doom in the lunacy of, not the accuser, but the accused!

With the Pope stepping down, the wolves in sheep's clothes, the progressives in the Mystical Body of Christ, more exact, the radicals, will reveal themselves for who they are! The complicit in the diabolic work of the devil in America will come to the fore! How many will wear ashes on Wednesday, foretelling their doom?
Lent is the time, and the time is now! American Catholics must take their stand...or as the Cardinal says, our children will be (literally) martyrs for the faith!
