As the weather is warming up for spring something else that always heats up around this time of the year due to the upcoming spring and summer tour season as well as the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame event is too. What is this thing; well it’s the talk or rumors of many legendary or well-loved metal and punk bands reuniting for a tour or album. The top of the list for most fans every year are Guns n’ Roses and Led Zeppelin. Zep has reunited plenty of times over the last few decades and it’s not a stretch to see Plant, Page and Jones reunite for a one off show or a few mega shows as they have in years past with Jason Bonham, son of their late drummer John Bonham on drums. Guns n’ Roses have had plenty of chances to reunite including their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction a few years ago but they have decided that it’s not the right time according to Axl Rose the lead singer and only original member of the incarnation of the band that’s playing tours now. The original members of the band from the Appetite for Destruction era unlike other legendary bands who have disbanded are all alive, healthy and doing music but even with absurdly amounts of money being offered to the original members they have decided against any type or full reunited tour or show. A few other bands such as Thin Lizzy, the Ramones, and even Nirvana have been dreams for people to be reunited but due to deceased band members they have only had some tribute shows with others filling in for the deceased members. Some rumored, hinted at or strongly suggested reunions have been making the rounds this year are a reunion of the original members of Kittie for either a documentary DVD or one off show, people have talked about Sebastian Bach doing things with some of the original members of Skid Row, there has even been a few talks as there has been for a while about a rumored Runaways reunion. One band that will not be doing anything close to a reunion is KISS. In a post on Facebook Gene Simmons has issued a statement about their 2014 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction and saying they will not be performing with original members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss despite their fans wanting that to happen.

Many fans want to have the bands of their childhood reunite. Many fans want to see a band they loved in concert in case they did not have that chance to see in that bands heyday. While many reunions are being hinted at or rumored for the facts visit the official websites of your favorite bands or musicians and get the facts from them. Will your favorite bands reunite? You’ll just have to find out.
