Over the years, one of my mentors taught me, “A person is as sick as the secrets they carry around.” I’ve learned over time that this applies not only to individuals, but to entire countries as well, even to humanity as a collective. The severe problems the U.S., and humanity around the world on every level are now facing are rooted in secrets kept by the few, from the many, because the secrets appeared to give that few unprecedented power to control the many.
Last March of this year, I did something that was a big deal for me. I spoke publicly at the Aztec UFO Symposium in Aztec, NM, about my extraterrestrial-related experiences, both my childhood through adulthood abductions/contacts and my more challenging military experiences while in the Air Force. If you have seen the 1996 “Dreamland” documentary, then you’ve seen me, I was the female radar specialist interviewed in shadow.
Because of those experiences, both abductions and the military experiences, the question of whether or not extraterrestrials or their craft were real or not were unequivocally answered for me… they are absolutely real. And the wall of secrecy that keeps this knowledge from the American people must come down. Not just for the release of technology to help us at an environmentally critical time, and create a new, far more egalitarian economy. But also to end human rights violations and abuses of the worst kind, allowed under the National Security Act of 1947.
When my experiences first came to light, they left me reeling in shock for a number of years. I was very resistant to coming forward publicly about them. At first, frankly, I was terrified. Someone or some agency had gone to alarming lengths – at great personal cost to me – to get me to compartmentalize that memory and bury it and I was quite positive they would not want me remembering it, and most certainly not want me talking about it. Not only were the actual experiences traumatic to recall and re-experience under hypnosis, the very idea that such things could happen in the “United States of America” – that I had learned about in school as a child growing up – was even more chilling. American icons I carried around like the flag, baseball and apple pie went up in smoke. I was, from the moment I came out of hypnosis, living with and trying to manage an internal level of terror, trying not to let it overcome me so I could go on living and working my job and paying the bills.
The few friends I told of these experiences found them so far outside normal human everyday reality that they tried to tell me I was mistaken somehow, or just to forget about it and put it behind me. But when you are handed an instant case of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), how are you supposed to “just forget about it and put it behind you?” And even before the memories began to be reclaimed from hypnosis, there was internal physical and emotional evidence of PTSD.
Finding the courage to face the shadow and heal
On the one side, I was afraid of government-military repercussions and I had my recovered memories of how terrible that could be. On the other, I had friends and family who couldn’t seem to handle even hearing about such experiences. It made seeking healing or help seem impossible. For a long time had to live with the internal tremors of the PTSD.
I was already kind of a different sort of person from the norm – sensitive, inward-focused, nature-loving – had been from childhood on, and I was afraid this would just isolate me further from the rest of “normal” humanity. In addition, on my quest for more information about what had happened to me, and in what context it had occurred, I met many grim and angry conspiracy-theory types who seemed to have little sense or intuition of the spiritual (rather than religious) side of life. This grim anger was not what I wanted my life to be about… so after a few years of digging up more information, that brought up more questions than answers, I decided to shove it all to the back of my mind and get on with the kind of life I wanted to have, one that was centered in spirituality and connection to others.
This did not work either. The essence of a spiritually-lived life is to “know yourself”, to collect all the fragments of your spirit that trauma and challenging experiences have split away from your essential being-ness and reconstruct yourself into a new, integrated, healed and whole self. So, after several years of shut-down, I opened up to my memories and PTSD with a new agenda, to heal the emotional fallout from my experiences. I was very fortunate at this time to find a caring and gifted healer to work with on this, and I’m deeply grateful to her for her help. I could not have come so far as I have now without her.
The Cost of Silence: Our Government of the People, by the People, Stolen from Us
After 8 years of a political coop that usurped the U.S. government called the Bush-Cheney administration, I have learned the cost of staying silent, and it is far too high to remain silent.
Those of us who signed on for military service, for whatever reasons, patriotism, to learn a trade or to see the world, didn’t know we were signing on to become part of a terrible secrecy that would lay heavy on our souls and isolate us from the rest of humanity. We didn’t know, in some cases, that we signed up to be lab rats for whatever experiments our superiors saw fit to inflict upon us for their own ends. Try to go to court to prosecute for duress or damages, and your case is likely to be thrown out of court, un-prosecutable “FOR REASONS OF NATIONAL SECURITY”. For people like myself, that have had experiences with the shadow government/military-industrial complex, that have left their lives in a shambles or worse, the cost of National Security Act of 1947 secrecy has been far too high.
In addition, as a result of enforced silence under pain of imprisonment or worse, we have a dangerously uneducated and unaware mainstream public regarding what goes on behind the impenetrable curtain called “The National Security Act of 1947”, and in this case, what We the People don’t know, can definitely harm us. No individual, nor any society can truly be free, or exercise it’s free will when critically important information is withheld from them. When making choices, decisions or when making policy, if one does not have all the information, all the facts, then the choice, decision or policy will end up being flawed, ineffective or even life-threatening.
Speaking Out
Many of you reading this may have watched Steven Greer’s Disclosure Project Witness Testimony video or his May 2001 National Press Club Conference. When I watch it, in addition to remarkable and deeply troubling information given by the witnesses there, as a person who cares about people and is trained to observe emotions in body language, facial expressions and tone of voice, I can only feel deep compassion for what these men and women have had to endure inside themselves and what they feel or know they were risking by speaking out. I know I’m not the only one who has suffered severe abuses, I’m just one of hundreds, and likely thousands. And I know that as long as this kind of secrecy is in place, this kind of abuse continues to go on.
But they forged the trail for the rest of us. There is safety in numbers… the more of us who speak out, the more safety we create for each other, the more awareness we create for the public who hear our testimonies and our messages, and the more we help create a better world for our children and grandchildren. And the more we disclose, the more power we pry from the hands of those who have been abusing that power and laying waste to who-knows-how-many lives in the process.
National Security Act of 1947 secrecy no longer protects our country and her people – it provides a curtain of secrecy for those who would destroy this country and her people for their own greed and power-driven agendas by allowing them to hide behind it, above and beyond the law.
While President Obama looks to be a far more positive leader to many Americans, if there is one thing the last 8 years have taught us all, it is that We The People must take an active role in our governance and how it is structured and handled. We can no longer afford complacency and giving our power away to politicians who are susceptible to financial seduction by the lobbying of special interest groups. We must raise our heads from our daily grind and pay close attention to legislation and policy that will affect the quality of all our lives and make our desires and wishes heard.
I kept silent for a long time trying to cope with a life turned upside down. To heal fully, I had to step forward, set aside my fear, and tell my story. The cost of giving my power away to fear became too high. No positive life I tried to create for myself would work while carrying that gorilla around on my back. I choose not to live that way any longer.
Today I do my best to write, speak and educate about this issue. As a deeply spiritual person who practiced Buddhist vipassana meditation for years and has been fascinated from childhood with finding that place where science and spirituality begin to overlap, I spend a good deal of time looking at the consciousness-expanding implications of contact with telepathic, or more accurately, tel-empathic extraterrestrial civilizations. I intuit this could mean a world with no more ugly secrets and people awakening at a deep level in a such a way that they would no longer perpetrate, or allow to be perpetrated, such human rights abuses. To be tel-empathic means that you would feel what others feel. To inflict abuse in such a case would be to feel what your victim feels, immediately, and make the abuse impossible to inflict any longer.
This was not an easy piece to write, but it does explain my writing here and my passion to end the truth embargo, and for the secrecy around the extraterrestrial issue to be more clearly understood. I hope to inspire others to listen with increasingly open and questioning minds, who have the desire to know the real truth and to look deeper. Because along with initiating a new era for humanity with new energy technology and possible contact with extraterrestrial cultures, it is my sincerest wish that it may also close the door on one of the darkest chapters in human history and bring about a new freedom in the hearts, minds and souls of collective humanity.

Hello Niara, Your above piece resonates with me,thank you. I am a Brit and we have the same problems as the States with government and the City of London run it seems by a bunch of criminal elite to their own agenda.
Secrecy hidden behind national security is the problem I feel. The problem is they can't allow this secret to become public knowledge because there will be mass hangings when good people find out that they are just pawns in an international game of rule the world. They must be scared out of their controlling minds of all this coming out into the light, but it must, otherwise a free society is finished.
We must work out a deal where they can be forgiven, but never be able to indulge in the public again. The ET's wont help directly I feel, but will offer hints, like in crop circles. In the end it is up to us the underdogs, the common person on the street to grow a pair and confront these people directly.
The more you speak out about this, the more powerful you become. Thank you for having the courage to be a spiritual warrior. I know the toll this is taking on you (or maybe I don't...) and all I can say is that your words and your speaking out is important now, more than ever, and I hope others will find the courage to come forward and join forces with you in this fight for the TRUTH.

I have had many of the same experiences as you. I could have written this article myself. I was not in the military but both my parents were and I'm quite sure they involved the family in this operation.
I believe there is a greater good to be had here and you have the correct idea. If there is a mass consciousness awakening that results in tel-empathic thinking and feeling, we could make the great leap to a higher understanding.
I can only pray that we all do the healing work as you have. To transcend a great trauma without having the anger and fear destroy you takes tremendous fortitude.

Some comments from disruptive persons seem to serve no other purpose than to attack or deride from a closed-minded, uneducated stance.It is this mindset that kept me from getting the help I needed for so many years as well as others with similar experiences.In reply, I only say that I have run into many people who have had similar experiences that intersect with my own and DID NOT need hypnosis to recall them.
Any one who undertakes a serious, open-minded study of all the evidence and testimony of this UFO/ET phenomenon and all its facets, must at least admit to themselves that something out of the ordinary is going on that relates to an extraterrestrial presence.If this person is so sure that this is nonsense, then I advise them to find something they care about, are passionate about that will help this world and go do it. That way they can make a contribution to the world in the way they see best, rather than just attacking others. No sense wasting their time reading here.

Obviously, you try to make money with your publications on the expense of deliberatly deceiving people and incite them against US-government. Asking for a proof is not an attack. And providing alternative views of things are not an offense either. However, censoring away comments or answers is a coward action - against the asking people, the public and your country. Remember, you had a S-security cleareance and you committed treason. According to 18 U.S.C. 2381, this offense will result in a life- or death-sentence.
So I can bring a charge against you at the DoD whenever I wanted. And if you feel, you should overstress my patience, I won't hesitate to do that. Of coarse, you can try it. However in this case, you shouldn't be suprised about, what followed. That's of course not a threat. Only a kind reminder to the documents, you have had signed once.

Implants as proof for ET-visitation? ROFL! Remember, Dr. Roger Leir (a MD, not a PhD or electrical engineer) monopolized the topic since the beginning and destroys systematically *EVERY* possible evidence, that delivered an unambigous proof to the scientific world, these 'implants' (that could be micro-meteorites as well) were manufactured by non-human entities. So the first operation, he always does is, he renders these devices inoperable. This way, the most important evidence (functionality) is eliminated - and the objects are only useful within circles of UFO-crazies. Leir's scientific 'methodology' is so stupid, unusual and weird, it looks for me, if child wanted to discover the secrets of a microprocessor - and crushed to chip with a hammer into silicon-poweder, and wondered why he saw nothing.
Since there is zero hope, Leir would ever allow an electrical engineer to decode an (alleged) data-stream, there is as much hope to gain useful and unambigous knowledge: Zero.
What makes your writing so powerful (and to some so threatening) is it comes from the heart. Keep on speaking your truth. Many are waiting to hear you so they can speak theirs.

I feel a solid reality to your experiences and personal spiritual healing. Some people come from the other (alien) side of that imposed darkness have even less context to explain or even sound credible.
What we are seeing is a psycho-spiritual illness propagate from tens of thousands unresolved or even unacknowledged profound experiences in our planetary culture.
Resistance is weakening however with such self sacrificing personal disclosures as your own. All heroes in my opinion.
The nay-sayers don't seem to have a sense of reality however. Who in their right mind would risk such ridicule publicly to try and bring light to this issue? Answer: Those who have legitimate pain and confusion who's hearts have been broken by such dark spirited control of truth.

Shol'va, You are angry and unresolved it seems. You seem to be unaware of a much larger-richer reality. The myopic focal of your approach (or departure) to this subject shows you do not understand the landscape.
Your arguments do not recognize a reality of experience. Either by design, or by ignorance, the core of your attitude has no credibility. Definitely no compassion. Some of us can see you in how you put your words together. Some of us understand from a new paradigm that unfortunately is yet to find traction in general human awareness. It is here however, and we can see clearer than history has shown.
You might want to listen more without judgments, fears or personal anxiety.
Your heart is keeps the brain in balance. It's easy to tell when balance is off. Your eyes are as connected to your heart as they are to your mind. It facilitates a clear vision. Open them.

It makes absolute no sense to speculate about my person, since all your assumptions are simply incorrect. Obviously you have not even a dim idea about, what else is inside the Pandora's Can, on that your hopes and beliefs are based. Remember, we can keep away nuclear power from the general public by restricting access to fissable nuclear materials. Even more dangerous things exist however, restricted access to materials can not longer do; but rigid secrecy can. I agree, HUMINT measures are certainly not very pleasant, particularly, when people violate laws. So you have to arrange with your intelligence agencies and accept, they have to do their jobs. When you started to trust into your government and and the numerous people there, how serve to the public - and humanity - on a daily basis, then people would see, things become more easier for them. An international disclosure process has begun, but it will take us a couple of centuries upon completion.
The "sense" is to draw you out to expose your spirit so to connect.
It's not what you say, but how you say it that can communicate deeper in interpersonal modes.
I had my own disclosure 30 years ago. It's amazing how the non-local system can inform us without conventions to identify. We don't need evidence. That's a sham. It is self evident when you look clearly. Many are experiencing and not believing the dampening lies.
It wont take long now, and we won't need officials to tell us what we already know is real. They will have to resolve their compromises. It's a dept they cannot possibly repay to us, or themselves. Secrets are a lie of silence. The deficit is in the spirit of those responsible or compliant. Absolution is in the self only. The secrets only delay potentials for our growth. It finds a way to be born. It is creative. It is truth.

Since your political, spiritual and artistic ideas are considered harmless to useful, I won't comment your statements further.
However, there is a majority of healthy people, who need either proofs or a satisfactory explanation. Since we can't leave them with nothing but an empty bag, I've tried to explain the reason behind the secrecy. Remember, exactly these means extended already our lifespan: Imagine, what happened, when the industrial revolution wouldn't had been delayed by about 80 years: Oil resources were exhausted and our air had became unbreathable - just now. So it should be clear to everybody, governments are committed to adjust the amount of technology available to the stage of evolution of people. The last administration in US relied too much on silence of their agencies. So many beliefs grew - like cancer. Times have been changed now and things are actively managed again. Secrecy can do it without bloodshed. So it's a great thing.
So far, I've seen Niara's blog on ETs, and Jeff Peckman's blog on ET's, and Jeff's tales of Stan Romanek. Perhaps all sincere people.
What concerns me however, is that they all are making money off this. Both Niara and Jeff get paid for their articles here. Niara has her tshirts and stuff for sale at /www.cafepress.com/DgoExopolitics and Jeff is promoting MetaTron software at extracampaign.org (not to mention whatever speaking fees or conference travel dollars he might get), and Stan has a book for sale at Amazon.
It's nice to see people doing a selfless thing to help the public. But, it seems when you dig a little around around this topic area, that selflessness evaporates in a puff of money.
I just think the facts behind the stories would be taken more seriously if the profit motive were to be removed from the picture.
Examiner articles are paid a whopping 1 cent per hit... nobody is getting rich off that. As for Cafepress, Cafepress, or Zazzle, gets the lion's share of any item sold... 85 - 95%. I know Niara and she does what she does out of a sincere desire to educate, on a very, very modest budget. The risk of being out there, doing what she does far outweighs any so-far non-existent profit at all, and that is true of most all UFO researchers and whistleblowers.

Well, I spoked of 3 such people, and "most" of them do seem to have money coming in. the only "risk" I see for them is getting less money from it than they planned (or being embarrased when they can't back up their clams).
My implication that they might have a profit motive certainly didn't intend to imply they were any good at their business.
But, one thing I do respect about Niara is that she seems to allow debate, and alternative views to be posted. Posts routinely disappear from Jeff Peckman's articles when they disagree with him, or ask too many questions about his ballot initiative.
I have known Niara for eight years and we have discussed our similar military experiences as well as the spiritual implications. She is truthful and also a friend.
