As John Edwards prepares for Elizabeth's funeral, Rielle makes wedding plans

While John Edwards is preparing himself for Elizabeth Edwards’ funeral tomorrow, Rielle Hunter, his mistress is quietly making wedding plans.

RadarOnlinereported that Rielle is holding on to the hope that now that Elizabeth Edwards is finally dead, she and John Edwards can finally be together.

No doubt Rielle feels that after Elizabeth’s burial, she and John can move forward with their previously discussed wedding plans.

John Edwards Promised Rielle a Rooftop Wedding

Since it was widely reported, it was as well-known fact that Rielle was hoping to one day marry John.

According to Edward's former political aide, Andrew Young, John told Rielle he would marry her after Elizabeth died.

Young said that John even promised Rielle that they would have a rooftop ceremony in New York City, and hire The Dave Matthews Band.

Rielle Ready to Move Forward with Wedding Plans

RadarOnline.com reports that a source close to Rielle said "Rielle has been very patient through all of this. She still believes that John is her soul mate, and she thinks that they're going to get married."

So instead of a funeral dirge, Rielle is apparently hearing wedding bells.

This strikes me as being very cold and calculating, as well as extremely crass.

Especially since Elizabeth Edwards is not yet even in her grave.

Rielle Jealous of Elizabeth Edwards

Rielle has always been jealous of the bond of love that John and Elizabeth still shared, despite his betrayal.

The National Enquirer reported that Rielle told John she didn’t trust him, because she felt that Elizabeth was still trying to “win John back.”

“Where will you sleep” was reportedly the first question Rielle asked John when she learned of the Edwards family trip.

Even after John assured her they would have separate sleeping quarters, Rielle still was not convinced, and expressed her concerns to a friend. Rielle feared that the more time John Edwards spent with Elizabeth , and away from her and their 2 year-old daughter Quinn, the more he’d begin to enjoy his old family life.

Rielle Getting Tired of Waiting for John

Just last month it was reported that Rielle had grown weary of waiting for John and Elizabeth Edwards to divorce, and had flown to Hollywood to lookup with two of her old flames.

The trip supposedly caused a rift between Rielle and John Edwards.

However Rielle’s spokeswoman said the rumors were untrue, adding that Rielle had not been to California for at least 2 years.

Elizabeth Edwards ‘Death Has Renewed Rielle’s Wedding Hopes

Elizabeth Edwards’ death this week has apparently revived Rielle Hunter’s hopes that John Edwards will marry her. It will be interesting to see if John keep his promise to marry Rielle.

Will Rielle Hunter finally snare John Edwards, whom she claims is her soul mate and the love of her life?

Will John Edwards really marry his former mistress, and the mother of his child?

We’ll just have to wait and see.
