Arun Gandhi will speak at the Florida International University Graham Center Ballroom on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. The event is described as An Interfaith Dialogue on the topic Love and Compassion Are Our True Nature. Arun Gandhi is the fifth grandson of spiritual master Mahatma Gandhi and worked for over thirty years as a journalist in India. A journalist for many years he also wrote a blog for the Washington post.

Grandfather taught Arun to understand nonviolence through understanding violence. “If we know how much passive violence we perpetrate against one another we will understand why there is so much physical violence plaguing societies and the world,” Gandhi said. Through daily lessons, Arun says, he learned about violence and about anger.
Arun Gandhi will be introduced by Paramahamsa Prajnanananda renowned spiritual teacher and master of Kriya Yoga. which is celebrating 40 years of love and compassion in the West.
