Tonight, for one night only, 6:30 pm at the Chautauqua Auditorium (900 Baseline, Boulder, CO), the Arts for All  Children will be presenting The Tamburitzans of Duquesne University.  Doors will open at 5:30 pm and Boulder's Spelemannslag (Youth Scandinavian Fiddlers) perform at 6:10pm.

They invite you to come early and bring a picnic to enjoy on the lawn.

A true family event, this is the 11th year for The Tamburitzans of Duquesne University, a Boulder tradition bringing songs and dances of Eastern Europe to the stage.  You will see over 300 colorful costumes, and hear the beautiful instruments and drums of old Europe. Skillful dances handed down through the generations will be performed.

The New York Times hails this performance as ...."better than Riverdance."

This event benefits Arts for All Children. Arts for all Children raises money (through special events and donation drives) for music scholarships made available to children that may not have been able to afford music lessons.  They have provided individual music scholarships as well as gifted sholarships and tickets for specific organizations in the area:

Boulder Area Music Teachers Association
Boulder Philharmonic (Student education programs)
I have a Dream Foundation (Concert Tickets)
Rocky Mountain Center For Musical Arts (Scholarships)
Rocky Ridge Music Center (Scholarships)
Parlando Center for The Arts (Formerly Boulder Arts Academy)

Ten years ago Hutch Monteson began hosting this annual fundraising concert featuring the Tamburitzans of Duquesne University at Boulder's historic Chautauqua Auditorium. These 35 university student dancers passionately bring the culture of Eastern Europe to the stage. This concert has generated quite a following. People come from all over Colorado to attend. It is a multi-generational event and a great fundraiser

If you want something unique to do with the family tonight, and you want to contribute to Arts for All Children, you won't want to miss The Tamburitzans of Duquesne University.

Tickets are  $15-27 ($12-24 Chautauqua Members)
