Artistix launches in New York: Embracing original artistic expression in fashion

Recently, Artistix hosted its New York launch party with the collaboration of Red Light PR at Ken & Cook in NoLita. Artistix is a unisex clothing line that is inspired by the creative expression of art. It’s based of of abstract paintings developed by the brand’s founder Greg Polisseni. The line includes t-shirts, denim, beanies, trucker hats, and scarves. It’s vibrant, hip, innovative, stylish, and original. All of the pieces have a comfortable, sexy feel that truly catches the eye. At the event, male and female models walked around the venue showcasing the different pieces and mingling with guests. They changed a total of 3 times throughout the night to really display the span of the brand. “Stars and Stripes Forever” and “November Rain,” two of the vivid paintings that the current collections are based off of, were also on display for guests to view and small poster size versions of the paintings were available for guests to take home with them. In addition, guests enjoyed assorted cocktails at the event as well as small bites such as tomato & mozzarella skewers, fried chicken bites, arancini, and shrimp.

Greg has painted over 170 paintings for his line, and is already working on new paintings for his next collection. He plans on taking the brand global and mentioned that the intent is also for the clothing to be manufactured in each of the countries that it launches in. He’s really excited to see how the brand continues to grow. What an innovative and inspirational brand!
