There have been a ton of pics released so far from the set of Marvel's The Avengers so the actors and characters themselves have been seen already. There was also a decent amount of promo art that came out for a book that will be released in conjunction with the film, but sometimes artists take it upon themselves to take things a step or two further.
An artist known as Paco Rico went ahead and jumped on the train of media for The Avengers and created two pieces of art that represent Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.

Kind of a cool light to see the actors in with smiles on their faces and being a bit more playful then they've been seen in most shots from the shoot of The Avengers itself. Hopefully Rico will end up doing the rest of the team as well.
The Avengers stars Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Clark Gregg, and many more. It is set to hit theatres on May 4, 2012.
