Logic is a Maryland native who has amassed a large fan base. That propelled him to a deal with Def Jam. Since then, he has released a mixtape called "Young Sinatra: Welcome To Forever." The mixtape was well-released and showed everyone he wasn't all hype.
The Maryland rapper was on XXL's Freshman Class 2013 along with Schoolboy Q, Trinidad James and Ab-Soul. He is slated to release an album in 2014 but no singles have been released yet. He is one of the artists that will get a lot of radio play. His sound is a hybrid of a lot of artists that came before him. He paints pictures like Kanye West and he also has metaphors that go over many people's heads. He has a sound that you can't get enough of. If he has the right production, he should break into hip hop radio rotation with ease.
No I.D. is said to be providing production for Logic's debut album along with Hit-Boy, C-Stick and 6ix. Debut albums are a challenge for many but for Logic it shouldn't be a problem. He has a great production team and his fan base is huge. If he stays true to the sounds of his mixtapes, he should be the next big artist.
A few songs that are worth checking out are "Welcome to Forever," "All I Do" and "5AM." He has four mixtapes on Datpiff so there's a lot of songs to listen to if you are interested.
