Artist Opportunities in Spokane

See also

There are a few artist opportunities to take advantage of in the Spokane area this spring of 2014.

  • Spokane County Public Library District's Facebook page reports they are looking for artists to display their work at the local libraries. Ask of the of the staff members at any of the branches for more information.
  • The Spokane Women's Show held at The Spokane Convention Center this April 25th and 26th. We are working with the show to bring in a fun exciting Travel and Adventure Village featuring a Unique Marketplace with vendors selling hand crafted items. We would love to have you and your products at our show and are offering a Great deal to Marketplace Vendors and I thought maybe you could pass along this info to some of your store vendors that might be interested. This Year Only, because we are bringing in a new aspect to this show and want to make sure it is hugely successful, marketplace vendors can be at this show for only $100! You may also get double the space for only $150. I am available if you would like more information or have any questions please feel free to contact me. My email address is Jamie@designevents.com and my office number is 765-2595.
  • Qualifications are requested from artists or artist teams for a project at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. The Spokane Public Facilities District (PFD) and the Spokane Arts Fund will commission an artist or artist team to create a new interior entry art work for the Arena. This project is particularly suitable for painters, photographers and those who work with relief sculpture or mobiles. While sculpture can be part of the portfolio the work will be installed on wall surfaces or hung. The estimated budget is $45,000 including design, materials, engineering, sales tax and all applicable expenses. See the RFQ here.

  • Rosalia Battle Days, held June 7, are looking for vendors for their event. Get and application from this link.
