He has made a Kevin Bacon portrait out of bacon, and a Channing Tatum/“Magic Mike” portrait out of Mike & Ikes. On Tuesday, April 2, San Francisco-based mosaic artist Jason Mecier unveiled his latest creation – a portrait of the troubled actress, Lindsay Lohan, made entirely out of trash.
“I love Lindsay!” Mecier wrote in a press release. “I'm a huge fan! She seems to love publicity and controversy so I think she will like it. It's all in fun. This portrait is glamorous and bad ass! It would look great hanging in Lindsay's living room.”
Some of the material used in Mecier’s portrait include jewelry; credit cards; one tampon; 13 bullet shells; 29 cigarette butts; Visine; hand cuffs; booze bottles; cell phones; make-up; prescription bottles; four ant traps; and some of Lohan’s CDs and DVDs. All of these materials were objects “inspired by Lindsay Lohan,” as stated in the description of the YouTube video. The description also says that the portrait took “over 50 hours” to create.
Lohan’s recent stunt was announcing via Twitter that she was pregnant. The “Mean Girls” actress later deleted the tweet and confirmed that it was an April Fools’ joke.
Lohan can currently be seen in the film, “InAPPropriate Comedy,” which is now playing in select theaters.
