The former Howard Stern Show sidekick, who is still listed as an official HSS cast member on HowardStern.com, reemerged on the comedy scene in July 2011 after 18 months out of the public eye following his January 2010 suicide attempt by stabbing.

Now, it seems that Lange is ready to turn his latest personal tragedy into some primo stand-up comedy material. In a promo clip released by WTF with Marc Maron on Sunday, Lange talks about his experience playing Scrabble in the psychiatric ward with an 80 pound methamphetamine addict and a 400 pound schizophrenic man who was late for his dose of thorazine.
"You haven't lived until you've played Scrabble in a psych ward," Lange told the live audience at the taping.
Howard Stern has repeatedly stated that he does not want to have Lange back on the air for a "tell all" interview about his mental breakdown, saying that he feels so guilty for not recognizing the severity of Lange's illness before his suicide attempt that he doesn't dare jeopardize the comic's health again.
