Artie Lange returns for Joe Buck Live episode two
Howard Stern Show co-host Artie Lange made a brief appearance on episode two of HBO's Joe Buck Live. Artie Lange appeared in a pre-taped segment that opened the show in which Joe Buck accidentally bumps into Lange in Times Square and runs the other way.
Artie Lange was a panelist on episode one of Joe Buck Live and made national entertainment headlines by getting himself "permanently banned" from HBO Sports for,....swearing? Talking too much during the panel discussion? Poking fun at Joe Buck? Imitating Joe Buck's dad? It's still not entirely clear, but HBO banned the Howard Stern Show sidekick and announced they were completely retooling Joe Buck Live after the perceived Artie Lange debacle.
"I would have liked to be back on live and get to talk," said Artie Lange on Wednesday morning's Howard Stern Show broadcast. "But Joe Buck's a good guy so I thought 'what the hell'."
The retooled Joe Buck Live aired on Tuesday night. The snarky, unpredictable comedians were replaced with well-mannered sports figures. Football stars Dan Marino, John Elway, Jerry Jones and Joe Namath and baseball Jesus Curt Schilling were much easier for Joe Buck to manage, but nowhere near as entertaining.
If Joe Buck Live episode number two is a sign of things to come, Joe Buck should probably throw himself at Artie Lange's feet and beg him to show up intoxicated for episode three.

Way to go Joe! After that mess on the first show to have Arte back on and do the comic thing you did, I have to commend you and applaud your style. I have a whole different perspective of you now.
