Artie Lange has stand-up appearance scheduled for June 2010

Artie Lange is still scheduled to appear at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut in June 18, 2010 according to the theater's website and the ticket sales representatives answering the customer service lines at Foxwoods on Tuesday, February 2nd.  Tickets are currently available for purchase on the theater's website

Artie Lange was last heard on the Howard Stern Show in mid-December before he was ordered to take a mandatory vacation by Sirius XM executives. Weeks later, Artie Lange was discovered near death by his mother after a violent and bloody suicide attempt by stabbing.

Fans of the Howard Stern Show have been clamoring for news about Artie Lange since the story of his suicide attempt and subsequent hospitalization broke in early January.

Postings about the June 2010 Artie Lange MGM Foxwoods show sprung up on multiple Howard Stern Show fan message boards on Tuesday, and a ticket sales representative at MGM Foxwoods told the Howard Stern Examiner that the rumor has merit:

"Yes, as far as we know, he is still scheduled to appear. They have not cancelled yet."

Although the scheduled appearance is still five months away, the news that any Artie Lange appearance might be staying on the calendar gives hope to Howard Stern Show fans concerned that the troubled comedian could be done with the business for good. Of course, there's still plenty of time for Artie Lange reps to cancel the gig, and the Foxwoods representative did say that Artie Lange's people hadn't cancelled the show "yet," but some fans are hoping that the simple fact that the show hasn't been cancelled for sure is a sign that the beleauguered and beloved Howard Stern Show sidekick could be on the mend.
