Breaking news: Artie Lange has quit the Howard Stern Show says Jim Breuer
December 31, 2009: Reports surfaced Thursday that Artie Lange has quit the Howard Stern Show.
The source of the report is a fan who heard comedian Jim Breuer speaking about Artie Lange during a Cleveland radio station appearance on Thursday morning.
Mark Mercer of the Howard Stern Show fan site MarksFriggin.com reportedly posted this statement on his Facebook page on Thursday:
"Not officially confirmed yet but.... from Jennifer Frimel-Mangano: 'Howard News Flash!!!! my husband just heard Jim Breuer on a local Cleveland radio station talking about Artie. Jim said Artie has quit the Stern Show!!!'"
Mercer later posted on his Twitter page:
"According to my friend on FB, Breuer said he had hung out with Artie and the word was that he had quit the show."
Rumors have already begun to surface that Jim Breuer, the alleged source of the Artie Lange quit-skies news, could be Artie Lange's replacement. Stay with the Howard Stern Examiner for updates on this breaking news story.
