The Howard Stern Show cast was discussing the upcoming World Series between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies when Artie Lange's co-hosts asked him for his opinion on Kate Hudson's frequent on camera apperances at recent games. Artie Lange, who is a die-hard Yankees fan and a frequent critic of Alex Rodriguez, admitted that he found Kate Hudson's focus-grabbing appearances at the games to be "annoying."
During Artie Lange's recent appearance on 'Late Night with David Letterman,' Artie Lange was more blunt in his critique of Kate Hudson and her "body of work."
"How does she have time to go to every single game?" Artie Lange asked Letterman. "Doesn't it take time to make all those awful movies?"
Artie Lange conceded that A Rod's recent slew of hits in this postseason have been impressive, and says that he'll be rooting to A Rod to do well in the World Series, Kate Hudson or no Kate Hudson.
Artie Lange told his Howard Stern Show co-hosts that he hopes to attend Thursday night's World Series game, and has two psychotherapy appointment scheduled in the coming week to ensure that he will be mentally healthy enough to attend.

god i hate it when artie is right.
Artie is annoying with his lame ass stories that he repeats over and over again.
Artie Lange is a jerk and very dysfunctional....he is becoming less and less funny too....I do not find him to be that great of a comic either. Lange is on the C-List of comics and his intelligence is obvioulsy quite limited....It is obvious Artie is still LYING and is NOT SOBER!!!! Artie belongs in a psychiatric facility anyhow. He will soon miss work again for some reason or other. Only a matter of time for this very emotionally sick man.
Howard should FIRE ARTIE!!!! Artie's type of comedy is also very, very outdated as well. Artie lives in the past. I also notice most of his abuse if saved for women as well. Artie obviously has lots of anger towards women and this especially showed in his sexist attacks on Lisa G. months back.
Maybe Artie is angry that Kate Hudson is dating A-Rod.
Perhaps, this jealousy stems from the fact that Artie has a man crush on Alex Rodriguez and that he is taken by the beautiful Kate Hudson.
With Artie's deep-seated issues and reguarly gay bashing, it could be that Artie himself at this point is latently gay and does not realize he might be a homosexual himself. Thus, he thinks by doing “manly” things and lashing out at women makes him more “masculine” when in fact he is covering for his own homosexuality. Many drug addicts and alcoholics use substances because of their sexual hang-ups and this could be what Artie is struggling with. His attacks on women are not normal but rather very abnormal.
