Artful Saturdays: Catching the scene on The Art Bus

A good friend of mine informed me of fresh new way to experience the local art scene in Boston, The Art Bus. On the first Saturdays of the month, between 12-4 p.m., there is a new shuttle sponsored by The Boston Art Dealers Association(BADA) that will allow art goers to park in one area, and travel for free between contemporary art galleries on Newbury Street and the South End. Stops are located at:

Thayer Street & Harrison Avenue

Newbury& Berkeley Streets (in front of the Church of the Covenant)

Newbury & Dartmouth Streets ( in front of Fitz Inn parking lot)

Passes are available for pickup at any BADA member galleries.

The Boston Art Dealers Association, is a organization that fosters cooperation among Boston's contemporary art galleries as well as creates a unified voice of advocacy for contemporary art in Boston. Visit BADA's  website for a full list of their member galleries.
