Art San supports the AFC's Champions for Choice in Education pre-ESPY event

On Tuesday, July 15, 2014, Athletes and celebrities came together for the American Federation for Children's (AFC) 3rd Annual Champions for Choice in Education Pre-ESPY event, held on the roof of the Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles.

Art San, celebrity sports therapist, author, public speaker, and trainer came out to support and interact with the guests. Known as "the Pain Eraser" Art is an expert in his field, specializing in chronic pain associated with sports-related injuries. Art owns the Pain and Wellness Center of Los Angeles. This Center is lauded as second to none in providing long-term pain relief from migraines, TMJ, frozen shoulder, bursitis, tendonitis, carpal tunnel, sciatica, lumbago, and plantar fasciitis, to name just a few.

Art holds a license in Massage Therapy, and certificates in substance abuse counseling, hypnotherapy, life coaching, health education, dispute/suicide prevention, and reflexology.

An invite-only affair, the AFC's Champions for Choice in Education Pre-ESPY event began with dinner, as AFC spokesperson Kevin P. Chavous and others highlighted the work of Champions for Choice. The evening featured a musical performance by Grammy-nominated R&B singer Kelly Price. Other celebrity and sports guest in attendance included Academy Award-winning actor Louis Gossett, Jr., ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith, Hollywood Exes’ Nicole Murphy and Shameka Lawerence, WNBA hall of famer Lisa Leslie, boxing champion Laila Ali, and Basketball Wives L.A.’s Sundy Carter and Laura Govan.
