Art Outside is returning for its tenth year for a weekend full of art, music, performance, comedy, film, workshops, camping, and much more. Music and art lovers have a big weekend to look forward to this October.
The wave 1 lineup announcement today so far includes Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, the Polish Ambassador, Cornmeal, Marco Benevento, Emancipator, Conspirator, Oregone, the Motet, Little People, Papadosio, and Fort Knox Five. A new artist will be added to today’s wave of lineup announcements every 30 minutes. Stay tuned for more updates as they come throughout the day.
Last year’s lineup brought artists like Bluetech, Earphunk, the Floozies, and Zoogma, along with Austin’s very own Dimitri’s Ascent, Michael Garfield, and other local artists.
Art Outside is a magical festival, filled with creativity of all forms. It brings together a wide variety of local and international artists to share their collective imagination through music, art, and performance. Ride a butterfly bicycle or experience a traditional freak show; interact with giant art installations or enjoy live painting by countless visionary artists; get flexible at a yoga class or attend a DIY workshop. The list goes on and on for festival fun.
Located at Apache Pass in Rockdale, Texas, the festival grounds feature hundreds of acres for camping with facilities for bathrooms, showers, and charging stations. Camping is encouraged but day visitors are welcomed just as happily.
Art Outside is a family-friendly and all ages event. Children under 12 get in for free! Weekend passes are on sale from today till August 31 for $100 and will continue to climb in price, so buy early and save. Be on the lookout for two more waves of lineup announcements in the upcoming weeks!
